Spongy, sweet pudding with apricot jam and hot cream sauce - a beloved South African dessert.
Instructions
Beat sugar and eggs until light and fluffy
Stir in apricot jam and all remaining pudding ingredients until well combined
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 45 minutes until golden brown
Heat cream, butter, sugar and hot water until melted and combined
Pour the hot cream sauce over the hot pudding
Serve immediately while hot
