Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth

Pour batter into a greased 23cm round cake tin or bundt pan

Bake at 180°C (160°C fan) for 40 minutes

Cake should be golden brown and a skewer inserted in center comes out clean

Serve warm or at room temperature

  • cornmeal (fubá or fine polenta) 200 g
  • plain flour 200 g
  • caster sugar 250 g
  • eggs 3
  • whole milk 200 ml
  • vegetable oil 100 ml
  • tablespoon baking powder 1 EL
  • Parmesan cheese, grated 50 g
  • teaspoon fennel seeds 1 TL
