Instructions
Heat butter in a small saucepan over medium heat until it turns golden brown and smells nutty
Let the brown butter cool to room temperature
In a bowl, whisk together almond flour, powdered sugar, plain flour, and salt
Lightly whisk the egg whites until just combined
Mix the egg whites and vanilla into the dry ingredients, then stir in the cooled brown butter
Divide batter between greased financier molds or mini muffin tins
Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 12-15 minutes until golden brown
