Instructions
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
Beat in eggs one at a time until well combined
Fold in flour, cocoa powder and baking powder until just combined
Spread on lined baking sheet and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25 minutes
Drain cherries and mix with cherry liqueur
Whip cream to stiff peaks
Top cooled base with cherry mixture and whipped cream
Garnish with chocolate shavings and cut into slices
