King of cakes - baked layer by layer on a spit for a unique ring pattern.
Instructions
Beat butter and sugar until light and creamy
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition
Gently fold in flour and cornstarch until just combined
Spread thin layers of batter on rotating spit under grill
Allow each layer to turn golden brown before adding the next
Cover the finished cake with melted dark chocolate

- butter 500 g
- sugar 500 g
- eggs 10
- plain flour 250 g
- cornstarch 250 g
- vanilla extract 1 TL
- pinch salt 1
- Zest of 1 lemon 1
- dark chocolate for glaze 200 g
