Instructions
Prepare the sponge cake batter with eggs, sugar, and flour
Spread thinly and bake 6-7 sponge layers
Make the chocolate buttercream with melted chocolate, butter, powdered sugar, and egg yolks
Stack the sponge layers with buttercream between each layer
Caramelize the sugar until golden amber
Pour caramel over the top layer and spread evenly
Cut the caramel top into triangular segments while still warm
