The famous upside-down apple tart from France with buttery caramel and tender apples.
Instructions
Caramelize sugar in a pan
Stir in butter until smooth
Peel apples, quarter and arrange in the pan
Place puff pastry over apples and prick with a fork
Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 45 minutes
Let rest for 10 minutes then turn upside down
Ingredients
- apples (Boskoop or Granny Smith) 6 grosse
- sugar 150 g
- butter 80 g
- roll puff pastry 1 Rolle
- vanilla extract 1 TL
- pinch salt 1 Prise
