The original Italian dessert with mascarpone, espresso and amaretto. Creamy, coffee-flavored and irresistible.
Instructions
Whisk egg yolks with sugar until pale and fluffy
Gently fold in mascarpone until smooth
Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks and fold into mascarpone mixture
Combine cooled espresso with amaretto
Quickly dip each ladyfinger in coffee mixture
Layer dipped biscuits and cream alternately: biscuits, cream, biscuits, cream
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight
Dust with cocoa powder just before serving

- mascarpone cheese 500 g
- egg yolks 6
- caster sugar 150 g
- strong espresso 300 ml
- amaretto liqueur 3 EL
- ladyfinger biscuits 400 g
- cocoa powder 30 g
- heavy cream 200 ml
